“Inverted Classroom and Beyond” is one of the largest conference for the European Inverted and Flipped Classroom community, was taking place on February 23rd – 24th 2016. The conference was hosted by the Austrian University of Applied Sciences in St. Pölten after having been at the University of Marburg for the previous four years. This move diversifies its reach, making it an international event for the German speaking countries.
Keynotespeaker of the first day was long-term math and science teacher Steve Kelly from Michigan, USA – he shared his experiences of using the flipped classroom in a High School setting. The concept of the inverted / flipped classroom is a growing trend that is being adopted by many universities and schools throughout Europe.
